Application requirements
Eligibility: All NTU undergraduate students
Students may apply prior to the commencement of the fall semester of their final year of study according to the stipulated program length (except when an extension of study has been granted).
✔️Four-year program: Complete the application procedure prior to the commencement of the fourth year
✔️Five-year program: Complete the application procedure prior to the commencement of the fifth year
✔️Six-year program: Complete the application procedure prior to the commencement of the sixth year
👉 Application prerequisites:Students applying for University Interdisciplinary Bachelor's Program should demonstrate a cross-disciplinary orientation in their coursework and have completed at least two credits in courses that are not part of their own departmental Specialization Program (or Interdisciplinary Specialization, Credit Programs.)
Application Procedure
A: Prepare Application Documents
1. UIBP Learning Proposal (📢Please make sure to verify the name of your Area of Specialization/Credit Program and confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complies with the course requirements of the selected program.)
2. Full Academic Transcript (including course selection records for the current semester)
3. NTU Specialization Program Course Selection Records (website: https://specom.aca.ntu.edu.tw/?lang=en)

B:Academic Advising Office (AAO) Meeting
Please make an appointment with the AAO and complete the meeting by June 23, 2026 (Tue.).
The AAO provides advising on learning resources. (📢Please note that this meeting is for advisory purposes only; final decisions remain subject to the Review Panel for UIBP.)

A. Documents for Review: Please merge the following items 1-5 into a single PDF file.
1. Learning Proposal
2. Full Academic Transcript (including course selection records for the current semester), with the student’s name and student ID number clearly shown.
4. [optional] Letters of recommendation from faculty members in relevant fields.
5. [optional] Documentation of extracurricular activities (e.g., proof of participation in research, exhibitions, or projects in relevant fields).
